October 6th, 7pm at Nu Stadium in Miami

International soccer returns to South Florida this fall as Colombia and Peru meet in Miami on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, bringing two of South America’s most passionate national teams together for a highly anticipated international friendly.

The match is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET at Nu Stadium, the new home of Inter Miami CF at Miami Freedom Park.

The matchup will close out a three-game international window for Colombia, which begins against Mexico on September 26 before continuing against Paraguay on October 2. Colombia and Peru last met in June 2025 during FIFA World Cup qualifying, playing to a scoreless draw in Barranquilla.

This time, the South American rivals will meet in a city that should provide an electric backdrop. South Florida is home to thriving Colombian and Peruvian communities, giving supporters of both nations an opportunity to see their national teams up close while creating the kind of colorful, passionate atmosphere synonymous with international soccer.

The match will also provide another showcase for Nu Stadium, the 26,700-seat centerpiece of Miami Freedom Park and new home of Inter Miami CF. Designed to host major international sporting events, concerts and cultural experiences in addition to MLS soccer, the venue opened a new chapter for the sport in Miami in 2026.

Peru has already experienced the atmosphere at the new stadium, earning a dramatic 2-1 comeback victory over Haiti in June in the first international friendly played at Nu Stadium. That match drew a sold-out crowd, demonstrating the enthusiasm surrounding international soccer in South Florida.

With two familiar CONMEBOL opponents, passionate fan bases and one of Miami’s newest sports venues setting the stage, Colombia vs. Peru promises to deliver another memorable night of international soccer in South Florida.
