Scotland heads into the 2026 FIFA World Cup full of confidence after delivering a dominant 4-0 victory over Bolivia in an international friendly at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey.
The Scots wasted little time taking control of the match, opening the scoring in just the fifth minute when Lawrence Shankland found the back of the net. Scott McTominay doubled the advantage in the 23rd minute before Ché Adams struck twice before halftime, scoring in the 30th and 45th minutes to give Scotland an emphatic 4-0 lead at the break.
While the second half produced no additional goals, Scotland remained in control throughout, limiting Bolivia to just seven total shots while creating 20 of their own. Despite Bolivia holding a slight edge in possession (54%), Scotland was far more clinical in the attacking third, registering eight shots on target and forcing goalkeeper Guillermo Viscarra into four saves.
Manager Steve Clarke also used the match to rotate his squad, making several second-half substitutions as Scotland completed an unbeaten World Cup preparation with an impressive all-around performance.
