LA Galaxy to Host Club América in International Friendly on July 11
The LA Galaxy will take on Liga MX powerhouse Club América in an international friendly on Saturday, July 11, at 7:30 p.m. PT at Dignity Health Sports Park. The match serves as an important tune-up for both clubs as they prepare to resume their respective league seasons following the FIFA World Cup break.
The two historic clubs last met in Los Angeles in November, when they played to an entertaining 2-2 draw. Their previous meeting before that came in the 2015 International Champions Cup, making this year’s matchup another highly anticipated chapter in the rivalry.
The Galaxy enter the match carrying positive momentum after a strong stretch of MLS play, while Club América will use the friendly to prepare for the start of the Liga MX Apertura 2026 campaign.
