One of the greatest rivalries in Mexican soccer took center stage in the United States as Club América and Chivas de Guadalajara battled to a 1-1 draw in the Clásico de México on October 11, 2025, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
Chivas wasted little time giving its supporters something to celebrate. Javier “Chicharito” Hernández opened the scoring just minutes into the match, finishing a setup from Teun Wilke to give Guadalajara an early advantage.
